Search for the book you want in the classic catalog to check the location and availability.
- If the item is at a SCAD location that is not near you, you can click on the Request link at the top of the screen to request that the book be shipped to your local library and held for pick-up. You will be contacted via email when the book is ready to be picked up.
- If the item you want is listed for the library where you take your classes but lists a due date, it means that the book is checked out to someone else. You may have the book held for you when it is returned by clicking the Request link at the top of the screen. You will be contacted as soon as the book is available for pick up.
- If the item you want is shown as Available at the library where you take your classes, you may want to contact the library to confirm availability before coming in to get it. Just ask at the service desk if you need help finding it on the shelves.
